The Dominican model Yamilex Hernández claimed the crown, becoming the first official ambassador for Latina women heading toward the Miss Universe 2025 international pageant, which will be held in November in Thailand.

The finale, which gathered eight standout contestants from different countries, was a visual spectacle that celebrated the diversity and strength of Latin culture. The event opened with an elegant evening gown parade featuring exclusive designs by Venezuelan designer Douglas Tapia, who was able to highlight the essence of each candidate through silhouettes that captured the region’s spirit.

Subsequently, the stage filled with symbolism during the traditional costume runway, where the contestants paid homage to their roots. The Puerto Rican contestants Génesis Dávila and Ediris Joan stood out with references to the Puerto Rican parrot and the maga flower, while Hernández radiated power with an outfit inspired by Dominican identity.

The final decision rested in the hands of a luxury jury, comprised of Aracely Arámbula, designer David Salomón, and Fabián Torres, who evaluated the finalists in the question-and-answer round before combining their votes with those of the audience.

Finally, Yamilex Hernández took the crown, followed by Génesis Dávila as first runner-up and Gemmy Quelliz as second runner-up.
