Starrville Community Lifts Boil-Water Advisory

October 7, 2025

STARRVILLE, Texas (KLTV) – Residents of Starrville who had previously been under a boil-water advisory can now safely use and drink the water.

On Thursday, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality directed Starrville-Friendship WSC to issue a limited boil-water advisory due to a prolonged drop in the distribution system’s pressure along with a break in the main water line.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this system for drinking and other human consumption. If you have questions about this matter, you can contact the district office at 903-845-2825.
